About the principal

Julie D. Evans, AIA, LEED-AP, is a registered architect in the States of New York and New Jersey. Ms Evans serves on the AIA Westchester + Hudson Valley Board of Directors. Prior to launching her own practice, Ms Evans worked at Stephen Tilly Architect (Dobbs Ferry, NY), where she designed new homes, additions, school renovations and the interiors of the Irvington Public Library in historic Burnham Building. She also worked for Fox and Fowle (New York, NY) on the Times Square interim retail plan. Prior to arriving in New York in 1994, Ms Evans lived and worked in Chicago, specializing in interiors for Eva Maddox Associates, and designing showrooms, airports, schools, and convention centers for Perkins+Will, Tigerman-McCurry, and V.O.A. Associates. Ms Evans was the designer for Tigerman-McCurry’s design of the Chicago Bar Association Building. Ms Evans holds an M. Arch., University of Illinois at Chicago, 1989, and B.S. in Interior Design, University of Cincinnati, 1983.
